待降節 in ２０１４ An advent party in 2014

今年も、心のともしび運動本部のマクドナル神父とスタッフのかたがた、友人たちと、待降節の食卓を共にしました。
A dinner party in advent was done with Father McDonnell and staff of Good shepherd movement and our friends.
ハイアット・リージェンシーホテルにて。
図らずも、心のともしび運動本部の創設者、故・ハヤット神父と同じお名前のホテルです。
In Hyatt Regency hotel.
Unexpectedly, that’s the same name as father Hyatt where I’m a founder of Good shepherd movement.

幼子のように ハヤット神父
「子供たちを私のところに来させなさい。とめてはいけない。神の子はこの子らのような人々のものである」（ルカ１８の１６）
これは、キリストが、自分の弟子をたしなめた時のことばである。
子供を連れてイエズスに会いに来た母親たちに、キリストは忙しいから会えない、と弟子が言ったからである。
これを見たイエズスは子供をそばに引き寄せて行った。
「子供たちを私のところに来させなさい。とめてはいけない。神の子はこの子らのような人々のものである」
キリストはさらにことばを継いだ。
「まことに私はいう。子供のように神の国を受けないと、
キリストの誕生を祝うクリスマスの時期になると、このことばが自然に思い出される。
クリスマスの祝日には、キリスト教徒は、
子供は時々、手におえないこともある。
それでも、子供はかわいい。彼らは罪を知らず、けがれもない。
子供は本能的に正直である。
彼らは謙遜で純粋であり、その心は、
しかし、成長するにつれて子供らしい魅力となっていた、
キリストは謙遜になることや子供のような特質をとりもどすことが
クリスマスには、私たちは、イエズスを子供として見る。

such is the kingdom of God."(Lk.18:16) There words were spoken by Christ
as a rebuke to his disciples. A group of mothers had brought there
children to see Jesus,and the disciples had tried to prevent the
children from approaching him. They had told the children that Jesus was
too busy to spend time with them.
When Jesus saw what was happening, he approached the children and drew
them to himself. “Let the little children come to me," he said,"and do
not hinder them,for of such is the kingdom of God. Amen,I say to you.
Whoever does not accept the kingdom of God as a little child will not
enter into it." (Lk.18:16-17)
As we celebrate the birth of Christ at Christmas time, these words of
the Savior naturally come to mind. As Christmas,we worship Jesus as a
child on Christmas and endeavor to regain, yo at least a certain extent,
the simplicity of children.
Children are sometimes mischievous, but they are also lovable and
innocent. They are humble and pure. Their hearts are as soft as their
skin.
As people grow older, they tend to lose the charm of childhood. But Christ encourages us to strive to regain it.
At Christmas time, we look upon Christ as a little child. We pray that
his gentleness and love may soften the hearts of all persons.
May our prayers be answered. May we ourselves capture once again the attractive spirit of little children.

今年も、カトリック教会フィリピンソサエティー（Kyoto Pag-asa Filipino Community）のクリスマスパーティーに、お招きいただきました。
可愛らしい子供達もたくさん出演の聖劇。

皆さんの手作りのランチです。ココナッツミルクで煮た甘いお米のデザートや、スパイスの効いたチキンなどの郷土料理を、たくさんおよばれ。

陽気で優しい皆さんとともに、楽しませていただきました。
私も来年は、サンタさんの格好で参加しようかな・・・(^^ゞ

そして、このフィリピンの方々が、今年も 病院へ慰問に来てくださいました。
日頃は静かな老人病院に、明るいクリスマスソングが響きました。
