今日、１月２２日は、主人のお誕生日、そして、亡き祖母のお誕生日です。
その今日に、長男夫婦に 女の子が生まれました♪♪♪
Today,January 22 is not only my husband but my grandmother’s birthday.

赤ちゃんにご対面させていただき、クリニックの窓の外に目をやると、朝から時雨模様でしたのに、いつの間にかあがり、美しい「天使の梯子」が見えました。

この聖母子像は、私達夫婦が 受洗しました２０１０年のクリスマスに、たまたま通りかかりましたデパートの催しで、出会ったものです。
洗礼名マリアとおっしゃる作者のかたが、これは北イタリアの伝統工芸で、楓の木を彫ったものですと 説明してくださいました。

そしてその３ヶ月後、長男は、この像と とてもよく似た面差しの お嫁さんと出会いました。
My son met her just like this saint’s mother three months afterward.
