加茂川会の桜パーティー　そして　Ｔさんの洗礼式 The cherry tree party and The Baptism

親戚のＴさんがメンバーの加茂川会http://www.geocities.jp/kamogawakai1984/index.html では、毎年この時期に、桜パーティーを開催されます。

京都への留学生等をお招きし、メンバー手作りのお料理や企画で、おもてなしをしはります。

設立から２８年間の間には、皆でお金を出し合って、留学生のために結婚式を挙げるなど、親身になって、様々な　愛ある活動を続けていはります。

This organization has supported in 28 years after establishment for the foreign student to Kyoto.

They also have things in the help which shares money and holds a marriage ceremony for a foreign student.

今年の会場は、メンバーの一人、Ｏさんのお宅です。

日本建築の広大なお屋敷で、お庭には大きな枝垂れ桜がありますし、塀の向こうは鴨川の桜並木という素晴らしいロケーションです。

This time, it was held in the member’s house.

Her house is big Japanese architecture and a weeping cherry tree is in the yard.
Moreover, the outside of the wall is a row of cherry trees.

残念ながら、今年はいつまでも寒く、例年でしたらこの時期には満開か　すでに散り加減の桜となりそうですが、未だ５～６分咲きといったところでした。

Regrettably, since it is very cold, the flower of the cherry tree is not fully out of bloom this year.

昨日は、この会に、お手伝いとして参加させていただきました。

私の帯は、毎年この時期に出番の、円山公園の枝垂れ桜と篝火を描いたものです。

I wore the belt of the pattern of a weeping cherry tree.

約８０名もの留学生の方々が、集まってくださいました。

There were about 80 participants.

まずは、昨年の大災害に対する、世界からのご支援への感謝の辞から始まりました。

We stated the gratitude to the support from each country for the catastrophic disaster last year to the beginning.

続けて、尺八の村田萌山氏の演奏と講義。

村田氏は、３０年程前の２３才の頃、人間不信に陥り、尺八とリュックひとつを持ち　北海道を放浪されたものの、北海道の人々の善意に触れ、人間を再び信じることができるようになり今日がある　とのお話しもありました。

Mr. Houzan  Murata performed a performance and public performance of the shakuhachi.

When he was young, he was human distrust.
And it wandered about Hokkaido and regained its footing by the goodwill of people of the ground.

メンバーによります英語漫談、英語落語や、参加者によります母国の歌の披露などもあり（オーストラリア、スウェーデン、イラン、中国、モンゴル、インドネシア、アメリカのかたと続きました）、盛況でした。

Members performed an English chat.

And the participant sang the song of the mother country.
The turn Australia, Sweden, Iran, China, Mongolian, Indonesia, and United States
.

お茶席も設けられました。

We also performed the tea ceremony.

メンバー手作りのご馳走、そしてケーキバーも、楽しんでいただけましたようです。

Many handmade cooking and cakes were served.

政治的には対立している国々もありますが、ここではどなたも、善意で繋がっているように感じられ、温かい、充実した時間を過ごすことができました。

Although there was also a politically opposing country, everybody was friendly there.

ありがとうございます。

その後、復活前夜祭のミサに間に合うよう、三条河原町教会 へと急ぎました。

「心のともしび運動本部」のマクドナル神父のもとで、要理の勉強を続けていはりました、医大生のＴさんが、このミサで洗礼を受けはりましたからです。

Then, I carried out on the Easter previous night occasion.

It is because the baptism of the miss.T was performed.

She is a medical college student and received education in the father McDonnell   of the 「good shepherd movement.」

Ｔさんの洗礼名は、ミカエル。

Ｔさんは、女性ですが、勇者・大天使ミカエルからのお名前は、いかにもハンサムウーマンの彼女らしいと納得しました。

Before her baptismal name, he is Michael.
It is an archangel’s name and it is suitable for her.

その後、Ｔさんを囲み、彼女の代母であります、ドミニコ修道会のシスターとその同僚の方々とのお茶会となりました。

Then, the tea meeting with sisters was held.
One person of them is miss.T’s godmother.

気がつけば、帰宅は深夜となり、長い一日でしたが、愛に溢れた良き日となりました。

My going home became midnight.
Although it was one long day, it was a good day which is full of goodwill.

（追記）

久々に、さくらちゃんをトリミングへ連れて行きました。
ずいぶん若返って見えます。やはり女性のヘアースタイル？は、大切ですね(^_^)。

福ちゃんは、わが家へ来まして９ヶ月半になります。

体は、もうすっかり健康で（右後ろ足先の麻痺以外）、腕力の強さや瞬発力は、昔いましたドーベルマンのマリーを思い出させます。

時には、無邪気に甘えたり遊んだりもしてくれるようになりました。

ただ、まだ食事の時は、びくびくきょろきょろと落ち着きませんし、物音にも過敏です。

気長に、家族になっていきましょう。
